I have learnt this from my guru Yogiraj Shri Vethathiri Maharishi. As per him, the science behind this yoga is all about understanding the nature of human and analyzes the root cause for getting aged. Human being is nothing but a combination of Life force, Bio-magnetism, Mind, Physical Body and Sexual Vital Fluid. The cause of the ageing/diseases is nothing but the loss of life force through various means. This Yoga keeps the life force intact hence avoiding diseases then by death. This mainly achieved by recycling sexual vital fluid.
