How to choose a safe and secured password for your email accounts and for your Computer ?
As we all know the big threat to computer and network security is password hacking.A password is a combination of characters that we use to protect information. There are many hackers who are waiting to exploit the weakness of our password to gain entry into our computer and our email accounts to steal sensitive datas like creditcard information, account numbers and in the worst case our identity itself.
If the password we provide is simple for a hacker to guess or small enoungh for him to crack then be ready to bid farewell to all your valuable informations.
Please follow the below guidelines when you set the password for email accounts and for personal computer.
- Password should be at least 6 characters long.
- It should not contain any spaces.
- It should contain at least 2 numerals and 1 special character like ! @ $ " ! # & *.
- It should contain one Capital letter.
Please try to set a password with the mix of above things so that your account will not be easily hacked.
Also please follow a best practice to change the password frequently (say once a week or so) so that you can always be on safer side.
